It's been 4 months now but I still can't get over the beautiful city of Cebu. The recent Sinulog Festival here was the most memorable traditional festive event I had so far. It was a good choice that I celebrate my birthday here this year. So for those planning to visit this magnificent island in the Philippines, here's my top 10 must-try in Cebu!

Ayala Centre Cebu:
Cebu is the oldest city in the Philippines, definitely you'll find rich culture and historical attractions here but one spot you shouldn't miss is the Ayala Centre Cebu where you'll find some of Cebu's delicious food and coffee spot to start your day!

Eat the local favourites

How about mango fruit shake, Cebu's famous Lechon or any grilled meat or seafoods? You can definitely go for binge eating for diner on a budget out there! Remember you can skip diet anytime especially if you're on holiday so Tara, Kain Tayo! (Come on, let's eat).

Night party scene

Cebu have an amazing crowd therefore you'll definitely love the city's nightlife. There's always room for night life with many of Cebu's neighbouring clubs located in Cebu IT Park of some night spot indulgence.

Sinulog Festival

What is Cbeu without Sinulog? This most awaited festival in the Philippines is the most celebrated festive season in Cebu so you better plan your visit here during the month of January to fully enjoy Cebu's rich culture and amazing people.

Magellan's Cross

Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese & Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines. This is one of the main tourist spot to visit in Cebu.

Church Visitation

Minor Basilica of the Holy Child is the oldest church in the Philippines. So many devotees will come over to this church to pray for the Holy Child Jesus (Santo Nino) that can still be seen here, locked up behind bulletproof glass.
